Sylvia Anderson
Sylvia Anderson was born and raised in rural MN. Sylvia discovered her love for acting after becoming involved in community theatre, starting off with smaller roles in The Sound of Music and Lil’ Abner and eventually growing to lead roles in Crimes of the Heart and The Boys Next Door.

Since moving to Los Angeles, Sylvia has landed a variety of roles, including the lead in a national commercial for the Paralyzed Veterans of America. She also had a fantastic time playing a feminist (and burning her bra!) on the set of the film Walk Hard. Sylvia has an English degree from the University of Minnesota and is a published author. She currently studies at The Performance Studio as well as with Jeffery Brooks of RedRock Entertainment Development.

When she’s not working, acting, writing, going to class or sleeping, Sylvia can be found, well, running! Sylvia has complete five marathons, a number of half-marathons, triathlons and other road races, and a grueling half-Ironman triathlon. Her ultimate goal is to complete a full Ironman. Sylvia is actively working on becoming a member of SAG (one voucher to go!) and is currently seeking representation.
