Spike the Dog
Company Mascot

Spike the Dog is Theatre Unleashed's proud mascot. He joined the company after losing a high-stakes poker game to company I.T. Manager Gregory Crafts. Who knew Spike's pocket Aces would be cracked by 7-deuce off suit?

Born in the back of a Japanese Geisha House in Southern Louisville, KY., Carmen Aloysius "Spike" Fronkenschtein McDog grew up learning the ancient arts of Olympic Class Thumb Wrestling and Ro Sham Bo. In time, he grew strong and when Fat Tony's thugs broke into the Geisha House that one fateful night, they were unprepared to face the wrath of this protective pup. Having saved his home from the Russian Mafia, the IRS and termites, Spike wanted to continue using his power for good. He left the tender comforts of the Geisha House and began a quest to walk the earth, righting wrongs wherever his keen canine senses found them. His wandering path led him west, where he was discovered by a Hollywood agent. After working for years as Spuds McKenzie's stunt double, he landed his first big action lead in the cult hit Rambone. Tragically he suffered a crippling nose injury on the set of Rambone II, ending his film career. He is big in Japan.

He has dined with kings, romanced princesses and starred in his own line of Workout Videos. He found the No Hope Diamond (twice!) only to lose it each time; once in an unsanctioned Arm Wrestling match, the other in the fiery depths of Mount Doom. He is a Knight of the Realm in Latveria. He is a world champion fly fisherman and holds the Guinness' World Record for most illegitimate offspring. He is envied by men, loved by women and marked for death by PETA. He was once chained to a deep fryer by Artistic Director Phil Kelly. He is Spike, the most interesting Dog in the world.
