Theatre Unleashed is celebrating the music of The Fab Four with another of its signature 24-hour theatre events…Can’t Buy Me Love. The evening before the show, writers will be given a specific topic based on a song from the Lads from Liverpool, tons of caffeine and just a single night to write a short play. It will immediately be handed over to a director and a few actors who have only that morning and afternoon to produce their piece. Theatre Unleashed will then showcase the end results that night along with stand up from some of the company’s favorite local comedians from TU’s Cheap ‘n’ Easy Series!

Theatre Unleashed is eager to bring another Shakespeare piece to the stage with a very unique look at his classic tale of conspiracy, betrayal and murder, Julius Caesar. Set in the 1940s, in a United States battered by the effects of World War II, a group of women whose male loved ones are off fighting gather in a community center and present the play as a way to help them understand and cope with the war, and the pain, suffering and loss it’s caused. Along the way, they find a new perspective on not just The Bard’s brilliant psychological drama, but also on their own lives and the conflicting demands of honor, loyalty, friendship…and community.

Theatre Unleashed is bringing back its wildly popular 24-Theatre Event, this time for TWO SHOWS! The evening before each show, writers will be given a specific topic related to the season of heavy traffic, family vacations and other traveling adventures. After loading them up with tons of caffeine, we give them just a single night to write a short play. It will immediately be handed over to a director and a few actors who have only that morning and afternoon to produce their piece. Theatre Unleashed will then showcase the end results that night. Then, we’ll do it all over again the next week with new writers, directors, actors and entirely new plays, making each performance worth the drive, flight, canoe ride, whatever!

"Look daddy, teacher says every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings."
One of the most beloved and treasured films of all time, nothing reflects the joy, soul and celebration of the holiday season more than Frank Capra’s sentimental classic It’s A Wonderful Life. Now, Theatre Unleashed is pleased to bring this heart-warming tale to the stage with It’s a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play. The show takes place at KAWL, a struggling 1940s radio station that good-hearted owner Michael Anderson is barely keeping alive. He calls on some old friends (with big personalities) and some less-than-professional station employees to offer up the touching masterpiece in what might sadly be the station’s last live show. But it is the holidays, a time when miracles can happen…
