Serving as an opportunity for the public to meet and greet Theatre Unleashed, the variety show will highlight the many talents of the company’s members, several of whom have come from other local theatre groups. With a “Monty Python meets The Muppet Show” feel, the show features one-acts, scenes, burlesque, vaudeville, original songs and the return of the Dead Beat Poets Society. Plus, patrons will bear witness to a woman with a shocking, special talent few others in the world can match!

June 23rd

Marking their return after a brief hiatus, the Dead Beaters present Darkness, Pain and Eyeliner, featuring some of the company’s top performers showcasing their spoken word skills as they tackle lyrics to some of the best goth, emo and industrial songs…dead beat poetry style! That's right, there's no singing here, but rather a serious (and hilarious) "reading" of all those songs that help you deal with the bleakness and misery of life. Think William Shatner doing Nine Inch Nails or Mike Myers (So I Married an Axe Murderer) doing The Cure.

September 8th-23rd

Through a Caffeine Haze is comprised of two different shows (Buzzed and Double Shot), each featuring three original works that have one thing in common: they all take place in a coffee shop. As such, the company's producers decided to try a nontraditional approach to presenting these pieces. First, they decided to take the show on the road, performing at multiple venues around the city to give these shows and their writers more exposure. Second, they decided to make the set as realistic as possible, by having the cast perform in actual coffee shops, mixed in with patrons and bringing a greater sense of reality and intimacy to the show itself.

December 15th

The main purpose of The Holidays Unleashed is celebration. Done in the tradition of holiday variety shows of the 1950s and 60s, The Holidays Unleashed features a plethora of entertaining acts. Lead by two Rat Packish (in theory) emcees, the show features a few classic holiday song and dance numbers, a traditional caroling group called The Figgy Puddings, a disturbingly sexy burlesque piece, lots and lots of slapstick and a few skits involving everyone’s favorite holiday celebrities. But the real fun begins when the show starts to…well…stray a little off course. The all-important holiday message, though, remains intact throughout.
