Hey folks! Well, the cat's out of the bag. We're kicking off our 2012 season with the smash Off-Broadway hit The Spidey Project: With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility. We're excited beyond words to be presenting this incredibly fun, original show. If you haven't heard of The Spidey Project before, take a look at their website to find out how it all started. It's a fascinating story, and we're proud to be a part of it's next chapter. Since this is the West Coast Premiere, we want to welcome Spidey to L.A. right, and that's where we need your help.

We want to turn the lobby of Studio/Stage into a shrine to our favorite Wall-Crawler. Sketches, paintings, line drawings, collages, mosaics, photography, statues, clothing, music recordings, videos, tattoos... If it's Spidey-related and you've created it, we want to display it! We're not just limiting this to Los Angeles, either. Doesn't matter where you're from - if you can get your tribute to Spidey to us, then we'll share it.

If you'd like to send something to us, here's what you need to know:

First and foremost, original work only, please! This display is meant to be by fans, for fans. Copywrited work, or work that you do not have permission to display publically, will not be exhibited.

All submissions must be received by Theatre Unleashed no later than March 1st, 2012 for inclusion. We are now accepting submissions throughout the run of The Spidey Project.

Your name, city/state and e-mail address, Twitter handle or personal website address will be included on a card displayed with the submission. If you'd prefer not to have part or all of that information shared, please let us know in writing, along with your submission.

If you would like to have your materials returned after the run of the show, please include a self-addressed method of return (envelope, poster tube, etc.) and pre-paid postage with your submission. Otherwise, if you are not located within the Greater Los Angeles area, we will not be able to return your submission to you. Local contributors can arrange to pick up their materials after the closing performance of The Spidey Project.

Electronic submissions should be sent to gregory.crafts@theatreunleashed.com with the subject line "The Spidey (Lobby) Project Submission." Electronic submissions should be limited to music, video and images meant for digitital display only, please. We won't be able to print out art work sent in to us electronally for display.

By submitting your materials,

• You hereby give permission to Theatre Unleashed to display your submission for public view and consumption during the run of The Spidey Project from March 8th, 2012, until the end of the run of the production (date TBD).
• You acknowlege that your work may be photographed, recorded and/or otherwise shared with the greater public via other means (ie - via social media) by both representitives of Theatre Unleashed and the greater public. Furthermore, you give Theatre Unleashed permission to share your work on our official website, blog, social media accounts and other outlets to promote both The Spidey Project and The Spidey (Lobby) Project indefinately, beginning on the date the submission is received, unless you specify otherwise in your submission.
• You understand that Theatre Unleashed will not compensate you in any way, monentarily or otherwise, for sharing your work.
• You acknowledge that Theatre Unleashed may not be able to display your work for the entire length of the run of the production, or at all, due to space constraints. You also acknowlege that Theatre Unleashed can choose, at its sole discretion, to not display a submission for any reason.
• You acknowlege that materials submitted may sustain wear-and-tear considered normal to exhibition while on display, and that there is a risk your submitted materials may be accidentally lost, stolen,  damaged or destroyed. You also release Theatre Unleashed, Studio/Stage and any associated individuals or entities from liability in case your materials are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
• You acknowlege that Theatre Unleashed will not edit, change, modify, censor or otherwise alter your materials. All submissions will be displayed "as is."
• You retain full ownership and rights to your submitted materials. You also have the right to have your material removed from display at any time. Any such request must be submitted in writing or electronically and dated.
• Materials submitted with a return method (pre-paid postage, return label and proper packaging) will be returned to you within a reasonable period of time after the close of the show (approximately 1-2 weeks).
